About
A small tutoring centre that knows every child by name.
since 2016
Flashcard opened in 2016 in two rooms above a bookshop in Lansdown. We’ve grown since then, but groups are still four and every lesson still ends with a note home.

A classroom moves at the speed of thirty. A tutor moves at the speed of one: your child.
Nadia taught maths at a Bath secondary for eleven years and was head of Key Stage 3 before opening Flashcard in 2016. She still teaches four groups a week and reads every lesson note that goes home.

The centre
Two quiet rooms and a reading corner.
Ten minutes’ walk from the centre of Bath, with parking on the street and a bench for waiting parents.

What we believe
Three things we won’t change.
Small is the point
Four in a group means every child speaks, every lesson.
Parents in the loop
If you have to ask how it’s going, we’ve got it wrong.
Confidence first
A child who believes they can do it will. The marks follow.
Still deciding?
Sit in on a lesson before you decide.
Come to any group lesson this week as our guest. No forms, no follow-up calls unless you ask.
